| Executive Chef/Partner | Leading Joe Fortes’ culinary team is Executive Chef and Partner Scott Pratico, whose infectious enthusiasm and creative style have helped keep the restaurant at the forefront of Vancouver’s restaurant scene for 25 years. Originally from Revelstoke, B.C., Scott developed an appreciation for organic, farm fresh foods at a very young age. His talents went on to blossom at a number of high profile resorts and hotels. Before landing at Joe's, Jamie gained hands-on experience in a variety of downtown Vancouver eateries, including Earl’s, Yaletown Brewery, Dix and Sandbar. Colette's passion for food and wine kept her at Joe Fortes while earning her degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Years of wine education, front of house experience and love of food, make Colette a natural in the restaurant events department. | Director of Marketing & Sales | Andrea has extensive experience in creative communications and marketing. Prior to joining Joe Fortes she worked in wine marketing, publishing and advertising as a brand and media strategist. She attained a degree in Communications and a certificate in Liberal Arts from Simon Fraser University. Having lived and studied on both sides of the Atlantic, Andrea understands the importance of consistently staying ahead of the trends. Her ability to visualize and bring concepts to life with seamless execution is one of her greatest assets. | Proprietor | At the helm of Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House is proprietor and renown restauranteur Bud Kanke. Throughout his more than 39 years in the industry, Bud has successfully launched and overseen no fewer than 10 Vancouver restaurants including such classic eateries as the Cannery Seafood Restaurant, the Fish House, Mulvaney’s, Goldfish Pacific Kitchen, and his great love – Joe Fortes Seafood & Chop House. Bud's ability to manage, market and lead award-winning and highly profitable restaurants has earned him induction into the BC Restaurant Hall of Fame. His dedication to the community is evidenced by he and his wife Dotty’s considerable donations of both time and funds to charitable organizations such as the Union Gospel Mission, the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund, the BC Children’s Hospital and the Pacific Salmon Foundation, among others. An inspiring leader, Bud serves as mentor to the staff and management at Joe Fortes. | | |
