GUEST SERVICES | We count on our Guest Services staff to facilitate an experience for our guests that transcends expectations, and to do so with enthusiasm, personality and a genuine spirit. Collaborating with our peers is essential in creating an atmosphere of respect, communication, open-mindedness and professionalism.
Guest Services positions are equal parts Greeter, Communicators, Organizers and Salespersons. | | |
SERVERS AND BARTENDERS | Individuals in these positions must excel in the key aspects of Service and Product:
SERVICE
- Ensuring food & beverages are at consistent standards.
- Exhibit positive and authentic hospitality by using personal recommendations to build a trusting relationship.
- Accommodate our guests needs and attend to them in an immediate manner.
PRODUCT
- Knowledge of the Food and Wine menus, portion sizes, cooking times, product uniqueness, ingredients, flavor and texture.
- Resourcefulness in offer options and suggesting food and beverage pairings. Ability to up-sell. If don’t know an answer, simply ask a team member.

BUSSER | This first class team is the foundation of Joe Fortes exceptional customer service. Your first priority of course, above all else is your guest. We look for our bussers to:
- Support the servers with table maintenance
- Attentively greeting guests with proper water service, bread service, coffee service
- Accommodating our guests during their dining experience with appropriate items to meet any request

Our kitchen staff must be:
- Systems/Standards driven, detailed orientated.
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced team orientated environment.
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Adaptable and versatile in a busy environment.
- Creative and imaginative.
