Who can resist a plate of perfectly seasoned sweet potato fries? We can’t. Especially¬†when they’re¬†¬†toasted on the outside and soft on the inside.
The star ingredient of this week’s Chef’s Choice is often mislabeled as a yam in grocery stores. Whereas yams come from the lily family, sweet potatoes derive from the morning glory family and are known to have fewer calories and more beta-carotene, an antioxidant believed to protect against certain cancers.
